Reflections from Utah Workforce Elevated

The Utah Workforce Elevated Conference was an incredible gathering of HR leaders, innovators, and solution providers. The energy in the room was contagious, with people excited to connect, share, and explore the big shifts shaping the world of work.

Two sessions in particular sparked inspiration and gave us language for ideas we’ve been hearing in our own conversations.

The first was HR’s AI Superpower: From Prompting to Partnering, which reframed AI as both a mirror — reflecting back your current practices — and an amplifier — enhancing clarity and strategy when used intentionally. The second was Engineering Positive Company Culture with Employee Feedback Data, which emphasized the importance of ongoing feedback loops and underscored how culture, like AI, requires intentional design rather than chance.

Together, these sessions (and many more!) set the stage for some of the most valuable discussions we had with attendees.

Conversations on Building a Cohesive AI Approach

The “mirror” idea from the AI session became a touchpoint in many of our conversations. Leaders shared that their AI use often feels scattered — small experiments happening in silos, with no unifying strategy. What they’re really searching for is a cohesive approach to AI that starts with data.

This is exactly where Parita’s role comes in. Our platform connects, layers, and brings together workforce data, acting as a mirror that reflects the full picture of the organization. When leaders have that clarity, AI shifts from being a shiny experiment to being a true partner in shaping strategy. The amplifier becomes powerful only once the mirror is in place.

Conversations on AI and Complex Data

This theme of clarity and investigation extended into conversations about culture and feedback. Many leaders admitted they’re flooded with survey results, engagement scores, and external ratings — yet struggle to translate all that input into action. They don’t lack feedback; they lack a way to make sense of it.

Here again, AI surfaced as a powerful ally. Rather than drowning in disconnected data points, HR leaders can use AI to identify patterns, highlight risks, and connect the dots across feedback sources. At Parita, we’ve seen how this turns raw survey data into predictive insights — enabling HR to focus energy where it matters most, close feedback loops, and strengthen trust across the organization.

Why This Matters for HR Leaders

What became clear at Utah Workforce Elevated is that the future of HR is being redefined at the intersection of technology, data, and human connection. The conversations weren’t about replacing HR’s role but about empowering leaders with tools and insights that amplify their impact.

  • Embrace AI as a Partner: Move beyond the hype and find real, practical ways AI can elevate HR strategy and execution.

  • Build Bridges Across the Ecosystem: Value isn’t in any one system — it’s in how leaders connect tools, providers, and data into a unified experience.

  • Invest in Community: HR’s strength lies in collaboration. The energy at Utah Workforce Elevated showed how much innovation happens when leaders learn from and support each other.
